CO.STARTERS at The Commons
This nine-week program equips aspiring entrepreneurs with the insights, relationships, and tools needed to turn business ideas into action and turn a passion into a sustainable and thriving business. If you’re an aspiring entrepreneur, or a seasoned entrepreneur looking to launch a new product or service and build a company, CO.STARTERS is for you. If you’re community-minded and serious about turning your passion into a sustainable business, we want you. Potential participants must apply online to be considered.
WHAT TO EXPECT
CO.STARTERS is an action-driven, collaborative process with a small and supportive group of like-minded people.
Led by a facilitator who is an experienced entrepreneur, you’ll identify your assumptions about why and how your businesses will work and then talk to customers in order to validate your ideas.
COST OF PROGRAM
Thanks to a grant from the Kauffman Foundation, CO.STARTERS at The Commons costs a flat fee of $125 for the full nine weeks. This includes curriculum and meals. Scholarships and payment schedules are available by request.
Each application will be carefully reviewed and selection will favor those most likely to benefit from the program and become sustainable businesses in the Denver area. Women and minority entrepreneurs strongly encouraged to apply.
“I love and support Commons programming because it strives to foster community and creates a level playing field and common ground for all entrepreneurs…regardless of their stage within the lifecycle or the amount of funding in the bank.”
