Work for Yourself @50+ is a three hour workshop from the AARP Foundation that helps starters over age 50 explore what self-employment looks like in today’s economy and whether it’s something to personally pursue. While the program has been successful as a standalone tool for a while, CO.STARTERS is helping them explore how to use it as a recruitment tool for existing entrepreneur support programs.
The 50+ demographic is often overlooked by entrepreneurial communities. By helping us pilot the Work for Yourself @50+ workshop, you will better connect with more mature starters and channel them into your established programs. These underestimated entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to start their businesses, and your community benefits from their contributions. It’s a win-win!
